From Scholars to Professionals: Danelle and Francesca Join Studio 9 Lives Animation Crew

A new chapter begins for two promising young animators as Danelle and Francesca proudly receive their certificates after successfully completing the two-year scholarship program of the Center of Animation (CAT) School and Studio 9 Lives.

The scholarship program, which ran from August 2024 to August 2026, was created to provide aspiring artists with the opportunity to receive intensive animation education while gaining practical experience in a professional studio environment.

Throughout the two-year program, Danelle and Francesca underwent training designed to develop both their artistic foundations and their understanding of the animation production pipeline. Beyond classroom learning, the program gave them valuable exposure to the discipline, teamwork, production standards, and creative demands of working in a professional animation studio.

Their graduation marks more than the completion of their studies—it marks the beginning of their professional careers.

Following their successful completion of the program, Danelle and Francesca have officially been accepted as regular members of the Studio 9 Lives Animation Crew.

Their transition from scholarship students to professional animators represents exactly what the program hopes to achieve: developing young artists and creating opportunities for them to enter the animation industry.

For Danelle and Francesca the journey does not end with their certificates. Instead, it opens a new door.

As regular members of the Studio 9 Lives team, they will now continue developing their skills while contributing to actual animation productions alongside experienced artists and production teams.
